More modern elements will highlight home exteriors/interiors. Expect to see more arched openings, barrel-vault ceilings, and curvy furniture. Outside, arched windows and doors, arched openings, and ceilings for porches or decks will make statements, as will curved walkways.

Patterns, two-tone inlays, and different tones are becoming more popular. Expect to see hardwood flooring in lighter shades.
Kitchens
Homeowners are looking to add color to cabinets and countertops. No longer are white cabinets king.
Black Elements
From kitchens to bathrooms, sliding doors, and more black is trending in matte or shiny.
Niche Pieces
More and More homeowner’s are looking for unique pieces of furniture, art, and rugs to bring spaces to life; and speak to their individual style.
